Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for the US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. The Final Five. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. In addition, she took her bronze on balance beam. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. Her gold medal at the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold medal for the United States team. This made her, together with her teammate Gabby the first Americans to accomplish this accomplishment. Also, she received silvers in individual all around and for floor work. In the three years between the two Olympics her break was taken. Her gold medal winning American team also took home the two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of 2 and her favourite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. She would like to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of leotards and socks in the coming years. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
